Forysth County Animal Control - Our Mission is to provide safe, humane shelter for unwanted, stray, abused and impounded animals in accordance with State regulations. The Department is responsible for assuring the timely and effective enforcement of the County's ordinances and State laws. The department strives to protect the public's health and safety from vicious, sick or injured animals, to educate the public about responsible animal care and ownership and to reduce the number of unwanted animals in the community.
Forysth County Humane Society - The Forsyth Humane Society is a non-profit organization committed to preventing pet overpopulation by promoting responsible pet ownership, and by providing for the welfare of homeless dogs and cats. We maintain a "no-kill" adoption center where dogs and cats are cared for while they await adoption by qualifying individuals.
No More Homeless Pets- The mission of No More Homeless Pets of the Triad is to end pet overpopulation and animal cruelty by assisting our Alliance partners (humane groups, animal shelters and veterinarians) in achieving their respective missions.
